CASeagrave Business was incorporated in California in June of 2006, purchasing the company from Seagrave Fire Apparatus, which was a company store. Once the purchase was completed we started to implement a customer relationship program and re-introduced the Seagrave product to our previous and current cutomers. We found that many of these customers were still loyal Seagrave buyers and were enthused that they now have a Seagrave dealership which is locally owned. They felt that their concerns could be dealt with on a local level, instead of discussing their issues with a phone convsersation.

 

Our customer base was about ten customers and everybody seemed to accept that this was the market that Seagrave could achieve in California. We knew there was a larger market in California, we had to expand our coverage beyond our current acceptable levels. We have expanded our market coverage to a larger portion of California and expanding daily. We now have added additonal sales representatives and our sales are increasing to levels that Seagrave has not seen in years.

 

We have a new Service Manager, which handles a staff of 5 trained technicians and offers 24 hour mobile service. We offer ladder inspections, pump testing and any other service related repairs. We also just hired an experienced Parts Manager who has been involved in the fire apparatus inustry for many years. His knowledge of fire apparatus equipment, has many fire departments seeking his services.  I firmly believe with the new administration assistance, California Seagrave will continue to grow and expand.
